Colin Wade Bio

In my thirty-year full-time career, I started out as trainee payroll officer, eventually becoming a payroll manager for a company providing payroll and pensions services to the NHS. I moved into business consultancy and project management within the IT and charitable sectors, before achieving my final career step of being a Programme Manager for the police service.

In 2016, I decided to leave my full-time career to give me time to start writing, alongside a part time job at a local school. I published my first novel, The Lost Years¸ in 2019. I have since published a novel each year: Plutus in 2020, Deadly Connections in 2021, The Sins of the Father in 2022, The Devil’s Code in 2023 and Murder at the Manor in 2024. I became a full time author in September 2023.

In my spare time I enjoy holidays with the family, playing golf, watching football and regular visits to the cinema.
